Web Access to Journal Articles
Web access to text of articles in some journals is limited, as described below. Libraries (particularly academic research libraries) may have institutional subscriptions that provide access to library patrons.- American Journal of Epidemiology: Abstracts of articles published since 1975 are available on the web at no cost; full text is available since July 2000 (http://aje.oupjournals.org/. Access to full text requires a paid subscription (or purchase of single issue); information: http://www3.oup.co.uk/jnls/list/aje/subinfo/. - American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene: Table of Contents and abstracts are available at no cost; full text available online since 1998 to subscribers (and others, for a fee): http://www.ajtmh.org/.
- Annals of the Entomological Society of America: As of January 1, 2000, the full text for each of ESAÕs four scientific journals is available online by subscription only. The journals are Annals of the ESA, Environmental Entomology, Journal of Economic Entomology, and Journal of Medical Entomology. Access is free for each journal's tables of contents and abstracts (http://www.entsoc.org/pubs/annals/).
- Bulletin of Entomological Research: issues from 1996-1998 freely accessible on the web in PDF format; from 1999-2000, only with a paid subscription, and from IngentaJouranls (http://www.ingenta.com/journals/browse/cabi/ber?mode=direct). - Science: available electronically since October 1995 to members of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) (http://www.sciencemag.org) .
