Equine outbreak in Indiana???? Fact or fiction???

Dear List:

An equine listserve I am on is reporting rumors of a large outbreak of
equine WNV in several Amish counties in Ohio. The Ohio official
governmental website lists tentative equine cases, but the veterinarians
are reporting many more suspicious cases. (I don't know if the Amish
believe in vaccination.) Apparently this information has gotten on some
horseowner websites and is causing a lot of rumors.

Does anyone on this list from Indiana know any actual facts about this?
Or is it a wildly exaggerated rumor?
