I took a look at the PIMS database and found that there are products
registered in NY with oil of eucalyptus, but not with picaridin. So for
now, can't recommend that in NY. I assume the manufacturer is working
on
bringing this material into the NY market.
[In response to Bradford Brown's comment that 'Oil of
lemon eucalyptus has not yet been submitted to the Product Registration
Section, for registration as an active ingredient, as of this
afternoon': ]
Check the PIMS database unde "eucalyptus".

There are NYS registered products that use "lemon eucalyptus", marketed
under the brand name "Repel".

Currently, as of 04/28/2005, neither of these active ingredients are
registered for use in New York State. Picaridin is in the process of
registration in NY and should be available later this summer. Oil of
lemon eucalyptus has not yet been submitted to the Product Registration
Section, for registration as an active ingredient, as of this
afternoon.
