I believe Dr. Reid Gerhardt at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville
may have had some success with a colony of Oc. japonicus. He is copied
with this message.

Does anybody know if Ochlerotatus japonicus has been successfully
colonized?
They have just arrived in our area and our lab would like to give it a

try, but
I have heard that they are difficult.
