RE Need for data analysis by CDC

Does anyone have anyone in this group carry out IgM ELISA's for West Nile virus.

I have been monitoring for WNV in the Cayman Islands using RT-PCR. We have yet to find any evidence of the virus on Grand Cayman. However in 2001 we had a confirmed case of WNV on Cayman Brac (confirmed by CDC in Atlanta). I would now like to carry out a study on Cayman Brac to determine if any birds or humans are seropositive for the virus using an IgM ELISA and I was hoping that someone could help me with the following questions.

1/ Is there a standard protocol for the ELISA? If so where can I obtain a copy?

2/ Where can I obtain the recombinant antigen from?

3/ How definitive is this test? Are there any cross reactions with other flavivirus?

Thanks in advance for your help!
