Some non-english language resources on WNV. The New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene's Office of Community Relations has a general fact sheet on West Nile Virus in 17 different languages (including Arabic, Sengali, Chinese, Creole, French, German, Greek, Italian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Urdu and Yiddish). According to their web site http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/public/cr/cr2.html you can call their office to find out about obtaining copies of the fact sheets (212) 788-4735. If you want to see the English version, it is on line at http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/wnv/wnvfaq1.html

IN addition, the NYC Dept of Health has a toll-free West Nile Virus Information line in Spanish and English a 1-877-968-4692 (8 am to 9 pm was posted as hours for "peak" season; possible that this service have less staffing in the winter).
