ARGENTINA AT FULL GALLOP

The 8th Congress of the World Equine Veterinary Association will be 
held in Buenos Aires, Argentina jointly with the 2nd National Turf 
Congress. The Equine activity is expanding itself  by the promotion 
of scientific, cultural, social and sports events.

The 8th Congress of the World Equine Veterinary Association will be 
held from October 15th through the 17th at the Sheraton Buenos Aires 
Hotel & Convention Center, where the latest advances on clinical 
veterinary, surgery and reproduction will be analyzed.

"This meeting aims at approximately 700 participants and 50 
commercial  exhibitors from different countries in the world", said 
Dr. Mario López Oliva, Congress´ President and Chairman of the 
Argentine Equine Veterinary Association, host organizer of this 
international meeting.

The main issues of this large scientific program, all of them being 
the latest findings and breakthroughs in each specialty, are: 
Infectious Diseases, Parasitology, Soft Tissue Surgery, 
Neonatology, Orthopedics, Diagnosis by Imaging, Sports 
Medicine, Well-being and Deportment, and Internal Medicine and 
Reproduction.

At the same time and in the same venue, The Argentine Union of Owners 
of Pure-blood Race Horses (UPAC), will be holding, during the 15th 
and 16th October, the 2nd National Turf Congress.

With the performance of the above mentioned activities, during 
October next, Argentina will become the world capital of the Equine 
Activity.
