Summaries of two conferences are reported in the July 2003 Emerging 
Infectious Diseases journal.  Proceedings from both are on the web 
(http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/eid/).

About 60 scientists, public health officials and clinicians gathered 
for the Southeast Center for Emerging Biologic Threats conference 
"West Nile Virus: Addressing a Regional Crisis" in Atlanta Georgia 
January 14-15 2003.  An overview is given in EID 9 (7): 897-898.

The West Nile Virus and Wildlife Health Workshop was hosted by the 
Smithsonian, National Audubon, USGS and USDA in Edgewater, Maryland,
