There are reports that arboviruses may be killed by acidification if mosquitoes are exposed to CO2. This may be a problem for cell culture assays, but is it a problem for VecTesting? Would be interested in hearing from anyone who has VecTest positives from pools of mosquitoes exposed to CO2 by gas or dry ice. Dr. John P.
